Have You Registered Yet For Our Free Autumn Tax Update?

16th November 2016

Lifecycle’s latest series of free CPD training seminars launches this month – providing the network’s members with an invaluable, highly informative update on a variety of topical tax issues.

The November events will take place at seven venues across the UK and will see tax expert Gerry Jackson, from specialist accountancy training provider Park Seminars, present on some of the key, most timely issues to affect SME accountants and their clients.

The topics covered will include: Why it still makes sense to incorporate to save tax; why changes to Transactions in Securities could impact more than expected; traps to watch out for in terms of intangibles and Stamp Duty Land Tax on second properties.

ABOUT Gerry Jackson

Gerry’s career in tax began 30 years ago when, back in 1986, he became an Inspector of Taxes in Birmingham.  He has since worked in what was once known as a ‘Big Six’ practice as well as in industry and tax consultancy.

For the last 21 years, Gerry has worked at Critchleys in Oxford where he deals with the tax issues faced by owner-managed businesses in addition to the firm’s large charity client base.
