IP addresses
We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration.

In some instances we may report aggregate information to third parties we engage for particular purposes. This is statistical data about our users¹ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

Cookies
A cookie is a small amount of data, which often includes a unique identifier that is sent to your computer or mobile phone browser from a website’s computer and is stored on your device’s hard drive. Each website can send its own cookie to your browser if your browser’s preferences allow it, but (to protect your privacy) your browser only permits a website to access the cookies it has already sent to you, not the cookies sent to you by other websites. Many websites do this whenever a user visits their website in order to track online traffic flows.

During the course of any visit to the Lifecycle website, the pages you see, along with a cookie, are downloaded to your device. Websites do this because cookies enable website publishers to find out whether the device (and its user) has visited the website before. This is done on a repeat visit by checking to see, and finding, the cookie left there on the last visit.

How does Lifecycle use cookies?
They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us:

To estimate our audience size and usage pattern.

To store information about your preferences, and so allow us to customise our site according to your individual interests.

To speed up your searches.

To recognise you when you return to our site.

Third Party Cookies on Lifecycle pages
Please note that during or after your visits to the Lifecycle website you may notice some cookies that are not related to Lifecycle. When you visit a page with content embedded from, 3rd party websites, you may be presented with cookies from these websites. Lifecycle does not control the dissemination of these cookies. You must check the third party websites for more information about these.

Refusing to accept cookies
You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our site. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, our system will issue cookies when you log on to our site.
